Teaches students who do not know how or are not confident, how to ride a 2 wheel bike without training wheels. Bike riding is a life-long activity and this program will help our students achieve that ability.
The HMF FitKids In School running program is a free five-week program designed for students throughout Connecticut grades 4-5 to learn how to incorporate running and fitness into their everyday activities and encourage a healthy lifestyle. Students can qualify for a field trip where they will run their "Final Mile" with students from all over CT.
Funky Foot helps to encourage students and families to stay active and healthy while participating in a before school programs inspiring students to walk, jog or run while earning fun tokens.
At the elementary level, Unified Sports encourages students to engage in non-competitive athletic activities designed to develop skills in a variety of sports while helping to establish social inclusion and friendships. These programs end with a culminating activity at the local or regional level.
This before school program runs from December through February and focuses on cooperative games and activities for each grade level. It is a great way to start off the day with your friends playing some of your favorite games.
